About Me

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share a little bit about myself today and give you all a peek into who I am beyond my mobile notary and freelance paralegal services. My journey into the legal field started way back in 1981. Fresh out of college, I landed my first job as a legal secretary. Little did I know then how deeply this path would resonate with me.

After trying a few other roles, I found myself drawn back to the legal world in 1986. That’s when I started evening classes for paralegal studies at Harrisburg Area Community College. I was incredibly fortunate to work for a partner at a law firm who became a mentor. He didn’t just hand me secretarial tasks; he guided me, challenged me, and allowed me to dive into real paralegal work while I was studying. It was like an apprenticeship, and as soon as I earned my degree, I transitioned into a full-fledged paralegal position. I absolutely loved it!

For the next 20 years, I immersed myself in real estate, corporate/business law, and estate planning. Then, a new and wonderful chapter began—I became a stay-at-home mom raising my son and daughter. Adjusting to that shift took some time. I was needed more than ever, but in such a different way. Those days were a mix of long hours and moments that seemed to fly by too quickly.

As my children grew and started high school, I felt the pull to re-enter the professional world. I dabbled in real estate and then took on the challenge of setting up and managing a local office for a title insurance company in Hershey. We got the office running smoothly, and then… COVID hit! That’s when I decided to take the leap and start my own mobile notary business.

Let me tell you, starting my own business has been a wild ride! It’s been filled with countless learning experiences and a lot of self-discoveries. The best part? The flexibility it gives me to be there for my family. They are, and always will be, my biggest “why.” My son is now a proud Duquesne graduate, and my daughter is heading into her senior year at Penn State.

After 24 wonderful years in Hershey, my husband and I recently moved to Lancaster to be closer to his family. We’re really enjoying exploring the area, meeting new people, and settling into our new community. I’m also building my notary and freelance paralegal business here from the ground up, which has been an exciting challenge.

Thanks for taking the time to learn a bit more about me. I look forward to connecting with you all!
